Royal Stoke University Hospital
Royal Stoke University Hospital is one of our two sites. It is a large acute teaching hospital on the border of Stoke-on-Trent and Newcastle-under-Lyme in Staffordshire.
Part of a private finance initiative, Royal Stoke University Hospital is a new and modern hospital. As part of the development, new and modern clinical buildings have opened over recent years, such as our Maternity Centre, Cancer Centre, Main Building, Kidney Unit and Renal Unit.
At Royal Stoke we have one of the busiest Emergency Departments in the country. Many emergency patients are brought to us from a wide area by both helicopter and land ambulance because of our Major Trauma Centre status.
