Lithium
Background:
Monitoring lithium therapy in patients commencing lithium, dose changes or investigation of toxicity/non-adherence.
Samples should be taken 12 hours post-evening dose unless toxicity is suspected.
In cases of suspected overdose, immediate measurement is advised
