This analysis is only appropriate in specific clinical situations. In general, it is more useful to request a standard drugs of abuse screen, then request further analysis depending on results. Please supply full clinical details, including details of any substances suspected to have been taken, or those known to have been given during treatment. This information is invaluable when interpreting results.
Please note: in most cases, analysis of urine samples is more informative than analysis of blood samples.
